What do you want me to do for you? the King of the Universe asked a blind beggar…
For He came to serve not to be served and to show the power and the glory of the Kingdom of God.
What do you want me to do for you? the Savior of the World asked…
For He came to save not to be saved. He came to be our spotless lamb of sacrifice to take away our sin condition and that of all mankind, to set us free—from bondage in this world and from bondage to the world.
What do you want me to do for you? the Ruler of the Kings of the earth asked…
For He came to show us that this mortal life is just a choosing ground. That this world is passing away and we get to choose, who we want to follow and where we want to spend eternity.
What do you want me to do for you? the One Who holds the Keys to death and Hades asked…
For He came to show us that we can have life forever in place without death or pain or sickness, but live in a place full joy, peace, completeness, and fullness of everything good.
What do you want me to do for you? the Son of God asked…
For He came to love, to be love and to reveal to us the overwhelming tremendous loving character of our Father who is love itself. Who moved Heaven and Earth to send Jesus to us, so we could know all these things.
May we know that we know that we know the deeply profound and extravagant gift that Jesus was, is, and will be.
