Perfectly Timed

Those Who Get to See the Lord Will Provide!!
Loved Children of the Only Sovereign God and Father, Who Cares!!!

They did not understand what this meant. It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask Him about it. Luke 9: 45

They didn’t understand because it was hidden for them.
It was preparation for the future.
He was giving them information that they were going to need soon, a perfectly timed word, so they would know God was still in control, after they lost Jesus at the cross.
He was giving them encouragement before they needed it.
He gives us words, speaks scriptures, encouragement into us, preparing us for what is to come.
For He knows what is coming up ahead and knows exactly what we need.
These men, got the greater comfort from God, knowing God was in control of every step.
The great love from God, that wanted to make sure they believed and were comforted, knowing God was in control after they experienced the heartbreak of Jesus at the cross.

There is a greater relief we experience when we recognize that God went ahead of us and gave us provision, knowing where we were going and what we were going to go through.

When going through a spiritual and emotional attack on my promises—promises God has made to me, that also match with scripture—God used my car being broken into, to give me a perfectly timed blessing.

My car was fine.

But God allowed it because I wasn’t going to clean out my console anytime soon.

So due to the break-in I had to clean up my car.
And amongst the take-away napkins, and insurance papers that had been scattered out of my console, I found a deeply held treasure— a final draft of a letter I had sent five years previously to someone to encourage them, that God would indeed give them the desires of their heart.

And at the moment I found the draft, I had already learned that the woman I had written this note for, has had those promises answered, proof that God gives us the desires of our heart.

God had prepared this blessing for me, this great encouragement, that I needed at that exact time.
But it brought me the greater blessing, knowing that it was waiting for me to need it and then at the exact right moment God gave it to me.
And He did it through such an unexpected way that I knew it was clearly God doing it.

For If I had found the note at any other time, it would have been nice.
But it was given, found, at the exact moment, I desperately needed that word!
And God knew it and had prepared for it, for me, five years before that moment.

This has been one of —if not the most encouraging gifts I have ever been given— the perfect word of encouragement, at the exact moment I needed it.

And to realize that God had sent it ahead of me, five years before, for the moment that was coming, to see How He was always working in my life, in this realm, was incredibly powerful in ways I cannot express in words.

And He was doing that for His disciples, preparing them for what was to come, so they would be deeply encouraged at their worst darkest moment and believe.

May we know that we know that we know, the goodness of God, who goes ahead of us, to bless us, to encourage us, to show us, He is there and active and still in control.
