What is Still to Come

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times what is still to come. I say my purposes will stand and I will do all that I please. Isaiah 46: 10

Not only does God tell us and show us in advance what He is going to do, things that would make our heads spin if we really understood, but He promises that what He has said, will stand. He will make it happen, He will bring it to pass. That what He planned He will do.
What is still to come.
His purposes will stand.

For God said Abraham would be a father to many nations, that Sarah would have a child in her 90’s, that Moses would be a vessel to deliver His people from bondage, and that David would have a descendant on the throne for eternity.
What is still to come.
His purposes will stand.

All of the Bible foretells of Jesus the Messiah the one who would come to save us and redeem us. That He would die for our sins, rise again on the third day and lead us to life ever-lasting. That He would give us the good gift of the Holy Spirit to never leave us until we see Him face to face, restoring us to our Heavenly Father forever.
What is still to come.
His purposes will stand.

God has foretold that He is our Healer, our Provider, our God, our Guide, our Father, our Protector, our Friend, our Defender, our Wisdom, our Supply, our Portion, our Love, our Hope, our Redeemer, our Past, our Present, our Future, the very Breath in our lungs.
What was, what is, and what is still to come.
His purposes will stand.

Jesus said He is coming back to take us to a place with all joy, peace, and fullness with God’s presence, where the streets are made of gold, where the glory of God illuminates the city and the Lamb of God-Jesus-is its light.
What is still to come.
His purposes will stand.

May we know that we know that we know, what is still to come, will stand.
