To Be Like Him

It is enough for students to be like their teachers, and servants to be like their masters. Matthew 10: 25

We are called to be like Jesus.
Jesus went around healing the sick and preaching and teaching in the towns around Him.
If we are to be like our teacher, Jesus, then we are to go around healing the sick (in His name and His authority) and peaching and teaching what He taught.

And What Jesus did teach?

That God is our Father.
That He sent Jesus to be our lamb of sacrifice to receive freedom from our sinful nature, to be reclaimed by God again as His children.
To Love God and to love others.
That He gives us the Holy Spirit, through believing in Jesus, to make all this possible.

May we know that we know that we know the incredible calling God has given each one of us, to be like Jesus in this season, to lead others to Him, that they be saved for all eternity too, where our real lives will begin.
