Then their eyes were opened.

Disciples Who Jesus Loves!
Sought After by the Father!

When He was at the table with them, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized Him… Luke 24: 30-31

They were sitting with Jesus and spending time with Him.
Then their eyes were opened.

They gave thanks to God, receiving from Jesus.
Then their eyes were opened.

They had been walking with Jesus and talking about scripture.
Then their eyes were opened.

Spending time with Jesus, opens our eyes to see.
Giving thanks to God, receiving from Jesus, opens our eyes to see.
Walking and talking with Jesus, opens our eyes to see.

And what do we see?
That God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to save us and gave us the Holy Spirit to live with us and fill us with the completeness that we all seek, the wisdom that we need, the friend that we all hope for, the unconditional love that can only be found in and through God, and the hope for tomorrow.

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus will open our eyes.
