All the Bible testifies of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the mystery of the Old Testament and the revelation of the New Testament. Jesus is written about all throughout the Prophets, the Psalms and through the Moses. His purpose, His heart, His mission is shown to us over and over through the Bible.

Isaac is the story of Jesus. Jesus is the one and only Son of God, given up as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. And just like Isaac, He was alive after the sacrifice and then has a servant, the Holy Spirit, bring Him a bride, us, journeying to our Isaac, like Rebecca did, having not seen Him face to face yet.

Joseph is the allegory of Jesus, going to save the Gentiles until He saves all His family. Being a light to the Gentiles, not willing that any should perish, until He brings back all His family.

Jesus was the Passover lamb, eaten in Egypt that gave life and strength to all the Israelite slaves to leave on a 40-year walking journey.

Jesus is the snake on a pole in the wilderness, sin crucified on the cross for the sins of the world, all of whom look to Him will have healing, health and live.

Jesus is the manna from heaven given to the Israelites to eat daily just as Jesus is our daily bread, the Word feasted on, in our lives, feeding us daily truth, daily healing, and life and life in abundance.

Jesus is the tree at Marah making the unclean water clean, like He made the unclean people, clean.

All so that when Jesus appeared, in the flesh, we would see the truth of who He was and is and will be, the overwhelming incredible, loving nature of God!
And so we would see the majesty and incredible power of our God who declares a thing, years and even centuries, before it comes to pass to see God’s unfathomable ability to do all things and make all things work for good.
May we know that we know that we know, all the wonderful things of who Jesus is, as we read and see Him through all the scriptures!
