I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Revelation 3: 18

Buy from me Gold refined by fire

Our faith is more precious than gold though it is refined by fire. Jesus is telling them they need to get faith, faith in the Messiah, Him, Jesus, the Lord our Healer, our Redeemer, so they can be rich, royalty, children of the Most High King, the sons and daughters of the Ruler or all the nations on the earth. That they can only get it from Him, Jesus, who gives the Holy Spirit, seal, guarantee of our inheritance, that comes by faith, belief in Him.

White Clothes to wear

The spotless lamb, unsoiled clothing of holiness and righteousness only given through believing and receiving the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, His works on the cross, giving us His victory, His sinless nature for our sinfulness, the white clothes that He wears that reveal the glory of God that clothes us with healing, salvation, eternity, removing any shamefulness from our sinful nature.

Salve for eyes

Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind so they could see that Jesus is the Messiah, Gods plan for salvation since the beginning of time. Leading them to the truth of the gospel, good news of Jesus making a way for us to be children of God, redeemed, who will live and not die, have eternal life, with God, seeing Him face to face with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Jesus is simply telling the church of Laodicea, believe in Him, the Messiah, the Savior, Receive Him as Lord.

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus is the Messiah, the Lord, the Only way to God, the Living One who gives us life forever by believing and receiving Him as Lord.
