Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3: 20

Here I am!
Jesus came to earth to make the way, to show people God and His ways, the only way to be saved.

I stand at the door and knock.

He is calling to people to believe. He has come to people, to seek and save them, the lost. He is knocking on our doors, our hearts, our minds. Jesus has sent the Holy Sprit to call people to Him, the Bible, and His Word.

If we hear His voice and open the door

Faith comes by hearing, the hearing the word of the Lord. Jesus is the Word in flesh, and His words are full of life and spirit. He has given us His Bible, and preachers, and the Holy Spirit to speak to us (calling unbelievers), to call us, to believe in Him, the Lord our Savior, the Messiah, the Savior of all mankind. We just have to open the door to Him, by believing what He says is true and receiving Him as the Lord and savior, the only way to God and eternity.

I will come in and eat with that person and they with me

If we open the door, the door to our hearts, we are receiving Him, then we will be with Him, forever, He living inside our hearts through the Holy Spirit. For Jesus went and ate with sinners, those who knew they needed Him for salvation. Then we are His family, He with us, and we with Him. Intimacy and Feasting with God forever.

May we know that we know that we know, If we believe and receive then we are His intimate companions, Him receiving us back as His family.
