My Lord my Provider
Recipients of Every Provision!
Children, loved and cared for by the Best Father!
The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of seeds, yet when it grows is the largest of the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches. Matthew 13: 31-32
Jesus is the mustard seed, that was planted.
Just like a seed that seemingly dies when put in the ground, Jesus gave up His bodily form, and was placed in the ground, so His truth, His resurrection, could blossom to a huge tree, a kingdom spread throughout the earth.
Jesus is the core, the basis of this tree, this Kingdom,
everything built on the foundation of Him, our Savior.
The allegory of a tree, with birds perching on it, denotes rest, provision.
God is letting us know, that the Kingdom He has built on Jesus, is one that provides!
A kingdom that was planted by God.
A Kingdom that God made grow.
It provides rest for animals, the branches for them to rest, up, away from danger.
In our case, He provides shade from the storms under the branches.
For God is our refuge, our shelter from the storm.
Trees produce fruit, so it denotes supply, needs being met by the Creator.
For He knows that we need food and things to function for He made us.
He is our good good Father and He is letting us know, He provides.
For God is the source of all of our provision.
He gave us breath, life, our bodies, our personalities, and our purposes.
He gives us the abilities to do what He has called us to, training us with our perfect teacher Jesus and our guide the Holy Spirit.
And even more so, He gave us a new heart, His heart, that inspires us to do what He called us to do in the first place.
Then He even goes before us to make the way straight, moving barricades out of the way or helping us navigate around or through them and fighting our battles.
For He is the Lord our Provider.
May we know that we know that we know, the Kingdom of God— built on the truth of Jesus— is one that provides, providing for us and for those around us, His children in every way and every day.
