Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, Friend, lend me three loaves of bread; a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him. Luke 11: 6

At Midnight
Midnight is a dark time.
Midnight is when most of the world is asleep.
Midnight is the beginning of a new day.

And Jesus is telling us that we can come to Him, to God, and ask for needs in the middle of the night.
That we can come to Him in our darkest moments to ask for provision.
That we can come to Him at the beginning of a new day to ask for provision.
That God always has an open door to His children.

That no matter the time of day or night, He will hear us and He will provide for us.

That not only will He provide for us, the middle of the night, or the middle of our struggles, or at the very beginning of the new day, the new season, the wee hours, but that He provides as much as we need.

That we just need to go to Him and ask, and He will provide.

For He is our loving Father. And When He provides we know that we know that we know, He is God.
For He provided Jesus, the way to Him, to save us forever and provide for us forever, before we knew we needed Him, before we wanted Him, before we even asked.

May we know that we know that we know, our Father, is so good, and has given us Jesus as proof of His love and provision, so we can know that we know that we know, He always love us and provide for us, no matter the time of day or season of our lives.
