As He Has Promised

Always Trusting, Always Hoping in the One Who is Trustworthy!
Those Who Reap a Harvest!!

Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. Luke 2: 29

Simeon was praising the Lord.
For He had a promise.
A promise from the Lord that He would see the Messiah before dying.
God made the promise.
And then the Lord directed Simeon to the place of His promise.
Then the Lord fulfilled His promise, Simeon’s purpose.

Simeon saw the Messiah, Jesus Christ, as a baby at the temple in Jerusalem.
He held the Messiah in his arms.
And then He prophesied over Him and His family.
Simeon fulfilled His purpose.
God fulfilled His promise to Simeon.

And God will fulfill all His promises to us so we can fulfill all our purposes too.

May we know that we know that we know, Just as He has promised, He will bring these promises, and purposes to pass.
