Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved—you and your household. Acts 16: 31

This man, a jailer, came to believe in Jesus, hearing the word of Lord by Paul and Silas. He became filled with joy and He and His whole household got saved and baptized that night.

Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth heard the message of Jesus at a river. She believed, so she and her household got saved and baptized that day.

Cornelius, a Gentile follower of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, was led to call for Peter the Apostle to hear what God wanted to tell them. He brought all his friends and family into his house. Before Peter finished preaching the word of Jesus Christ, they all believed, and the Holy Spirit fell on all of them, His whole household, everyone he brought into his home. Then they got baptized.

God is not willing that any should perish but that all believe and be saved, you and your household. He is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow. What He did for them, He will do for us.

May we know that we know that we know, His great love and mercy will extend to all of our family, those we consider part of our households, as we believe.
