He looks at the Heart

Heart Transplant Recipients!

But the Lord said do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 17: 6

He looks at our hearts.
Not at our actions but our intentions.
Not at our results but our motives.
Not at lack of understanding but what we acted upon with what little we did know.

He knows every time we submitted our feelings on the altar, to be kind or love someone.
He sees every time we walked in faith, fighting the fear.
He sees every good intention even when the results fell flat.
He actually does give us credit for trying.
He sees all things.
Nothing is missed by our wonderful Heavenly Father.

He is always looking, longing to love on us, seeking to love on us, to be good to us.
He is always looking for the good in us.

And since He gave us His heart and Spirit to live inside us, His very nature to lead us and guide us, He always finds something good in us to see.
For He is in us and He is good.

May we know that we know that we know, it’s our heart that He is looking at.
