Sons and Daughters Who Don’t Even Smell of Smoke of Fire On Them!!

As the time approached for Him to be taken up to Heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. Luke 9: 51

As the time approached for Him to Go to Heaven.
Not the time to be killed.
Not the time to be betrayed.
Not the time to be left all alone in the hands of lost men.
No, it was the time that He was going to be taken to Heaven.

Jesus is our example and the Holy Spirit is our guide here.

And they are telling us, the focus wasn’t on the pain, the suffering, the loss, but the good plans God had for Jesus, to take Him back home, to glory Him, to give Him his throne back, but with more, the keys to death, hell and the grave won back from the devil.

The focus was on the good that Jesus was accomplishing through all this suffering.

The focus was on the good outcome past the painful circumstances.

The focus was on the good promises of God that were going to be fulfilled through this process.

The focus was on the good eternal rewards where Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father, having fulfilled the greatest blessing for the world since the fall of Adam and Eve.

May we know that we know that we know, as we focus on the good that God is going to bring through our trials, we can weather any storm, climb any mountain, navigate any valley.
