Greater Glory!!!
Blessed, Destined Ones of the Only God, who is Faithful and True!
Ones Called to see the Greater Glory!
Neither this man nor his parents sinned said Jesus, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. John 9: 7
God wants us to know Him.
God wants us to know He can do anything.
God wants us to know that this life is but a vapor.
God wants us to know that what matters is the life that is to come.
God wants us to know, so He chooses to show out His glory in those He can trust.
Like Job and Joseph and the blind man, it isn’t always what we did wrong that brought us troubles.
Sometimes, it was what we did right, trusting in the Lord.
So, God trusted us.
And then He rewards us now and in eternity.
God trusted Joseph.
Joseph went through slavery, slander, and imprisonment.
But each step was a promotion.
Each step prepared him for his destiny.
Slavery humbled him and taught him about the needs of the lowest class and how to run a foreign household.
Slander taught him about injustice and the justice system.
Imprisonment taught him how to run a system in a foreign country.
And all of it taught Him to trust in the one Faithful God who raised him up to the palace where he saved nations, all his family and pointed a pagan nation to the Only God.
God trusted the blind man and His family.
The oppressed fallen world order brought him blindness.
But God brought him healing.
He went through blindness and begging.
But He got to be healed by His Savior, to see more than those whose eyes were always open.
He got to see the Maker of All things in Human Form.
He got to know in that generation that God was real, that God cared and that nothing is impossible for Him.
He got to be redeemed publicly by God.
He got to experience the glory of God in His immediate life, feeling God’s healing power and live in the peace and wonder of His majesty all his days.
He got to spend his earthly life as a grateful, walking, talking, and seeing miracle of God.
He got to be a chosen vessel to proclaim God’s goodness, by others seeing He could see, all His earthly days.
He got to be spoken of for generation after generation, written about in the Bible, leading people to Christ, over and over again, until the end times.
And He gets to be rewarded in eternity for every single person, who came to believe, because of His story.
May we know that we know that we know, no matter what we are going through, God is going to bring glory through it and will bring greater blessings to us and those around us and after us.
