Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28: 19

Teaching them:
Us
Everyone who came after

To Obey Everything:
Everything that Jesus told His disciples to do.
That those of us who claim Christ as Messiah, are to do what He said.

The first thing that Jesus commanded over and over and over in the Bible, throughout the gospels and even in the book of Revelation, was this:
To believe in the one God sent
Jesus, the Messiah.
To believe that He is the Messiah.
To believe that He died for our sins.
To believe that He rose again.
And in that we will want to do all the other commands: all of which consist of loving others.

For He gave us His heart.
And in that heart is the longing to help others.
The longing to lead others to Him.
The longing to see others set free.
The longing to see the joy of the Lord overtake everyone we know in this life.
The longing to see others healthy, walking in freedom, joy to the only worthy destination, eternity with God.

May we know that we know that we know, that when we do the first command to believe, we will want to do the others.
