He is Here, He will calm our fears.

Radiant Ones of the Lord!
Comforted by the Shepherd!

When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water and they were frightened. But He said to them, “It is I, don’t be afraid.” John 6: 19-20

Fighting through the storm on their own,
Jesus went looking for them.
Jesus came to them.
He calmed their fears.
He reached out for them, first.
Then they took Him into the boat.

For Jesus comes to us.
He came to us.
He comes to calm our fears.
He comes to us first, calling us with His love.
He comes to us, bringing peace and provision.
He comes looking for us, reaching out to us.

He says, don’t be afraid, I am here.
He says, don’t be afraid, I’m here to help you.
He says, don’t be afraid, I’m here to love you.
He says, don’t be afraid, I’m here to give you peace.
He says, don’t be afraid, I’m here to provide for you.
He says, don’t be afraid, I’m here to save you!

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus is here; He will calm all our fears; He will save us.
