To Save His People.

Those Who will Live Forever!

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus because He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1: 21

Jesus chose to come down — from the glory and the beauty and the majesty of Heaven, where light reigns, where no sickness or disease, or death can enter, where there are new amazing sights, sounds, tastes, colors, and creatures, that we have yet to ponder — to enter the fallen dark world, to save His people.

Jesus chose to come down from Heaven — where He reigned as King, where He ruled angels and the cosmos, where He sat among the stars, and commanded powers and principalities — to enter fallen mortal humanity, to save His people.

Jesus chose to come down — from a place of immortality, where no one dies or gets sick or even grows old, to come down to a place where death reigned — to be our perfect sacrificial lamb to pay for all the sins of the world, to save His people.

For Jesus came down to do what we could never do, live a perfect life. For He was able to completely and perfectly obey God, in every thought, in every action, in every word, in every way, to save His people, us.

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus came to save us.
