Everlasting Love and Unfailing Kindness

Disciples Whom Jesus Loves!
Those Who Feast on the Words of the Lord!

I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. I will build you up again, you, Virgin Israel, will be rebuilt. Again, you will take up your timbrels and go out and dance with the joyful. Jeremiah 31: 3-4

It’s in knowing the love of God that we can believe for goodness from Him.
It’s in knowing the love of God that we can believe for goodness in our lives.
It’s in knowing the love of God that we can believe for a good future.
That’s why the Bible is full of statements of God’s love.
For the Bible is a love letter from God to us.

It’s says see Me.
See my goodness to you.
See my goodness to all creation.
See my goodness to every generation in the past.
See all my good promises to you.

It says Hear Me.
Hear all the wonderful words I speak over you and to you.
Hear my heart for you.
Hear all my hope for you.
Hear all my joy for being with you.
Hear all my love pouring out to you through every page.
Hear all the promises I will give to you.

It says know my truth, that I love you.
It says know my character, I am faithful.
It says know my history, I am more than able.
It says know my heart, I have good plans for you.
It says know that I already gave you my best most expensive priceless gift, my son’s life in exchange for yours.
It says know that now there isn’t there anything I won’t give you.

May we know that we know that we know, God loves us with an everlasting love, He draws us with an unfailing kindness, and we will be rebuilt, taking our timbrels and dancing with the joyful!
