Dressed in White and Worth

Those who Have put on the covering of the spotless lamb!!
Those clothed in His righteousness and holiness!!

Yet you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. Revelation 3: 4

Not soiled

Spotless, like the spotless lamb Jesus Christ, no longer clothed in shame that comes from sin.

Walk with me

We walk with Jesus on streets of gold in heaven and when Jerusalem is brought down to earth in eternity.

Dressed in white

Jesus when He was renewed, brought back from death and when He was on the mountain during the transfiguration, was clothed in white. Holiness, purity, completely sanctified, covered in the glory of God. When angels are seen by people at the tomb, they gleam white as lightning.

For they are worthy.

The only, only, only way to be worthy, is to receive the worth by Jesus Christ and His sacrifice, the only way.
For only Jesus could fulfill perfect righteousness.

So these people in Sardis are only worthy because they believed in Jesus and received His worth, His holiness, His perfection, His spotless lamb sacrifice for our sinful nature.

That is the only way we get to walk with Jesus in eternity, to believe in Him and receiving His completed perfect works, here and now.

Then we walk clothed in white, with unsoiled clothes, spotless like the lamb.

May we know that we know that we know, Jesus is worthy and if we believed, then we received His white clothes, His sinless nature, His worth and we will walk with Him in eternity.
