Promises, Needs, Bounty

Those Who Ask and Receive!
Those Who Believe in the Promises of God!

And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up? They answered, seven. Mark 8: 20

The Bible says that God will provide for all our needs.
Jesus demonstrated that.
They picked up an abundance of left-over food after Jesus provided for people, who had not even asked.

And He will and does do the same for us.

So when He tells us to ask and we shall receive, since we already know that He promises to take care of all our needs, He isn’t telling us to ask for our needs, for we already have those promises as a given.

For He already sent His perfect Son to live and die for us a provision for our needs to become One with God so that He is present in us, every moment making provision in us and through us.
Not that He wasn’t present with us before, but being inside us, He can then lead and direct us better, and fill us with Him, which is all things good, healing, joy, peace, wisdom, eternal life.

For He made us His children so He can take care of us and lead us and guide us to blessings and to be a blessing every moment of every day until we see Him face to face.

He is telling us, that He is more than generous, gracious, bounty filled God. That we can ask for anything.

May we know that we know that we know the goodness of God and all the love He longs to lavish on us day and night.
