Good Trees that Produce

Good Trees of Jesus Christ!
Branches Who Live in the Vine!!

Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, We have Abraham as our father. For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the tree, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Luke 3: 8-9

Produce Fruit…
The only way to produce fruit, is to believe in Jesus Christ.
For we enter the kingdom of God through receiving the sacrifice of the forgiveness of our sins, through Jesus.

We have Abraham as our father…
Judaism wasn’t just a religion; it was cultural and genetic people.
People were Jewish because of their family line.
While people could convert to Judaism, people were simply Jewish by default of birth.
And John the Baptist is pointing out they now have to decide to follow Jesus, that everyone no matter what culture, ethnicity they were born into, they now have to choose to believe, and receive the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Does not produce good fruit…thrown into fire
He is letting us know that the only way to everlasting life— to spend eternity with God, in Heaven, a place without death, without sickness, being all we were supposed to be back in Eden but now better, for We have God living inside us, His Spirit, His nature, His wisdom, inside us—is to believe, to choose to believe in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our sinful nature, repenting from our worldly sinful nature and turning to God, the Truth, that Jesus is the only way to Him, to be united with our Father and Live.

May we know that we know that we know, when we have received Jesus Christ, we received the Holy Spirit—who made us the good tree, that gave us eternal life, that saved us from the fire—which is the only way to produce good fruit.
