Blessings For Today!

Blessed Ones of the Most High!
Healed Loving Ones of the God of Love!

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary; repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3: 9

Peter is just telling us to do what Jesus told us to do.
Bless (speak well of) those who curse us, pray for those who persecute us.
But Paul is reminding us, in doing this, we will be blessed.
For God made His ways to bless us.
This is not a salvation issue but a how blessed do we want to be.
Because God is the God of love and He values love, and us loving others.
For that was what we were called to do, Love God and Love others.
For it was love that had Jesus choose to crawl upon that cross, to pay for our sinful nature.
Since He paid for our salvation, the redemption of our nature, unifying us with God, now when we do the things He called us to do, we get blessings.

When we love those who aren’t actively loving us,
we break yokes off them that are harming them,
we break yokes of hurt and pain off ourselves,
we break yokes of disunity and separation,
and we actively bring healing—emotional and physical— from the Lord into our lives, actively receiving it through our actions of obedience, into their lives, our lives, and to the lives of anyone connected to us.

And that’s only the beginning of what God can and will do to bless us when we seek to love others when they aren’t loving us.

May we know that we know that we know, God’s ways will bless us in this life.
