In the Dark: A New Beginning

Children of the Sovereign Lord, He who governs the day and the night!
Ones Who Hope!!

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. John 20: 1

They were coming to the tomb to anoint the dead, having resigned themselves to their broken dreams.
And in the dark without hope, there they found a miracle from the Lord, the light dawning out of darkness.

And God does that in our lives. too!!
While it is still dark, the darkest in our lives, He moves.
While it is still dark, He removes the barriers, the obstacles.
While it is still dark, while we are crying out to Him in our distress, we discover the stone has already been removed,
He has already removed the barriers for us,
He has already opened up the way!!!

And just like for Mary, Not only is the obstacle out of the way,
He brings our hopes,
our promises,
our dreams,
back to life!!
What we knew was dead, is no longer dead but alive, walking around and given back to us in a better state than we had before.

May we know that we know that we know light will shine in the darkness.
May we know that we know that we know a new beginning, a new day starts in the dark.
May we know that we know that we know even in the darkest moments of our lives, God brings dead things back to life.
And may we know that we know that we know Jesus, is our light, no matter the darkness.
