A Light Shining in the Darkness.

Lamps on a hill that cannot be hidden.
Ones who glow with the light from above.

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1: 5

Jesus came to be the light to blind eyes to see that this world is temporary and what matters is the world to come.
A Light Shining in the Darkness.

Jesus came to be the lamp to our feet to light the way, light our path to God.
A Light Shining the Darkness.

Jesus came to be the flame igniting our hearts to the things of God, His ways, His truth, His love.
A Light Shining in the Darkness.

And the darkness has not overcome it.
For the life of Jesus still shines.
For the gift of His sacrifice still lights the way.
For the proof of His resurrection still ignites hearts.

May we know that we know that we know, all the light that Jesus brings to us, and may His light grow brighter and brighter through each of us.
